Catholic institutions in the Diocese of Marquette are invited to apply for grant funding for faith formation initiatives that will take place July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 in the parishes and missions of the the Diocese of Marquette. Visit www.LegacyofFaith.net for grant information.
An informational 45-minute webinar, “Grant Writing Tips for Faith Formation Grants,” will be offered on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00am ET/10:00am CT. Register on the website or email Terri Gadzinski at firstname.lastname@example.org
Grant requests should align with our bishop’s vision for the formation of Spirit-filled Evangelizers in three steps: 1) Be a friend of Jesus: Personal encounter and prayer; 2) Make a friend: Building a community of love and forming welcoming parishes; 3) Introduce your friend to Jesus: Sharing Jesus with others and helping them make a personal decision to follow him in faith.
As the nation-wide Eucharistic Revival movement continues to unfold from 2021-2024, Legacy of Faith encourages creative proposals that promote a deepened understanding and a reinvigorated belief in the Eucharist. Some examples include providing related books or catechetical resources to parishioners, hosting a special speaker, or leading a pilgrimage to the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress scheduled for June 9-10, 2023.
The online grant application, guidelines and a list of evangelization resources can be found at www.LegacyofFaith.net.
Deadline to submit grant applications is April 1, 2022. Applicants will be notified in May, 2021 if their application has been approved for funding.
